Artist, ShoMaka is influenced by her Native American background and family history. She creates acrylic paintings that dance across canvas and collect power of earth, air, fire, and water in bright extravaganza. Each painting and piece of poetry is a vibration of lightening gathering thunder across a desert floor and water falling over rocks along a river bottom. ShoMaka’s art is giving birth to ceremony and ritual in a traditional manner of a Beauty Way Blessing.
Artist, Lorraine weaves blessings through time, building mystical bridges across unknown lands with her collage art. She imagines story boxes in all sizes and a variety of mythological conceptualizations that provoke mindful thought forms to her audiences. These artistic boxes are parlor pieces for coffee table conversation, magical gifts, and guardians of sacred treasures. Light Catchers created by Lorraine illuminate and beguile while casting rainbow like reflections. Each Light Catcher is inspired by colors of nature and whimsically designed.
